We are ready to share a brand-new direction for the studio: a highly limited release of oversized XXL tees and vibrant, 2-layer art prints.
This drop is a massive leap forward in how we handle screen printing. We’ve been experimenting with a completely fresh approach in the Jim Vision studio, building handmade, oversized screens to handle large-scale, heavy ink work. The inspiration for scaling up our setup came from checking out the brilliant DIY techniques of the awesome @DIY_Eli (definitely an account you need to follow if you love pure, hands-on craft).
Using these massive, custom screens allows us to capture the fluid, psychedelic energy of the streets in sharp, high-contrast detail on both the apparel and the paper. For the prints, this means a base layer of intense colour topped with a clean, deep black pull. There are no digital shortcuts or mass production here, just raw, hand-pulled studio craft.

from Wall to Studio: The Street Art Craft
Our new collection brings the fluid, psychedelic energy of the streets straight into the studio. These hand-screened A1 art prints and oversized XXL tees are not mass-produced merchandise. They are raw, high-contrast conversation starters for anyone who values true printmaking and street art culture. The Whispering Waters artwork was painted in Dandi Battersea last month as part of an interactive live paint event for residents. See our other post for more.
The Power of the XXL Tee
Oversized tees are a staple of streetwear, built for comfort and a relaxed, heavy silhouette. Our XXL tees are designed to make a statement, offering a loose, dropped-shoulder fit that works perfectly as a standalone piece or layered over hoodies.
Heavyweight Comfort: Cut from premium, breathable cotton that holds its shape and feels solid.
Streetwear Edge: Designed with an authentic, loose fit that complements bold, large-scale graphics.
Visual Impact: The massive canvas of the XXL tee allows our custom graphics to breathe, creating a look that stands out completely from standard high-street drops.
The Handmade Oversized Screen Printing Process
The real defining feature of this release is how it was made. We reject digital printers and mass production lines. Instead, we built custom, oversized handmade screens in our Shoreditch studio to handle large-scale, heavy ink work.
Inspired by the brilliant DIY setup of DIY_Eli, we scaled up our equipment to push the boundaries of traditional screen printing. This process requires massive physical effort and precise technique, but the result is an artisanal product with a tactile dimension you can actually feel.

Why Hand-Pulled Screen Printing Beats Mass Production
Unmatched Colour Vibrancy: Using a unique 2-layer printing technique, we lay down a vibrant HyperColour base layer before pulling a clean, deep black design over the top. This makes the colours pop with an intensity digital printers cannot match.
True Studio Texture: The heavy ink application leaves a tactile texture on the paper and fabric, giving each piece a distinct, premium feel.
Extreme Scarcity: This method takes time. Because each print is pulled by hand by Jim Vision & Madam Mizmatiki, these runs are strictly limited, including exclusive colourways of just three pieces.
Care Instructions for Your Studio Tees
To maintain the quality and crispness of your hand-screened graphics, treat them with care:
Wash inside out on a gentle cycle with cool water.
Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
Air dry where possible; do not tumble dry on high heat.
Never iron directly onto the printed graphic; always iron on the reverse side or use a cloth barrier.
What is Next for the Studio
We are only just starting to explore what these massive custom screens can do. Moving forward, the studio will continue to experiment with experimental ink blends, even more intricate multi-layer designs, and highly limited garment runs. We are enjoying pushing the boundaries of this raw, hand-pulled craft.
Don't worry we won't stop painting walls, but this creative process has been a great challenge whilst learning new ways to produce art.
